Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to abnormal findings, and escalate as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures such as PICC line and vascular catheter removals.
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret telemetry cardiac rhythms.
- Flexibility, dependability, and effective communication skills.
- Experience with telemetry units preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous telemetry nursing experience.
- Proficiency with Dynamaps, bedside monitors, and iMobile technology.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
