Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 26-week assignment, Nights shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Float to different units as needed, including potentially serving as Charge RN
- Administer blood products, start IVs, manage peripheral lines, and administer medications such as Heparin, insulin, and PCA
- Follow isolation precautions and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with rapid response teams and adhere to protocol standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Valid BLS certification
- Epic electronic health record proficiency
- Ability to pass an EKG exam during onboarding
- Active RN license in North Carolina or the state of practice
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with blood product administration and IV starts
- Prior experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units
- Flexibility to work nights and float as needed
