Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care to adult patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation
- Follow strict patient safety protocols, including isolation precautions and use of rapid response teams
- Serve as Charge RN if needed, overseeing patient care on shift
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification
- Valid RN license
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding
- Flexibility to work nights and rotate holidays and EOW (every other weekend)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with blood product administration, peripheral line care, and starting IVs
- Knowledge of medication management including Heparin, Insulin, and PCA pumps
- Experience in telemetry or medical-surgical units
