Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, part-time (3 shifts per week), on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for high-risk obstetric cases within a busy acute care hospital
- Circulate during cesarean section procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver culturally competent care to a diverse patient population
- Maintain accurate documentation using the hospital’s electronic health record system
- Follow hospital policies and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- At least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Ability to circulate on cesarean sections and handle high-risk obstetrics cases
- Willingness to float between related units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to a block scheduling environment
