Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and independent living communities.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to promote patient mobility, strength, and overall functional recovery.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Support quality patient care by adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
• Proven experience working with elderly populations in SNF, AL, or IL settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and therapy documentation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, or independent living environments.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
