Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Days shift, 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures within the perioperative setting.
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care, including patient preparation and recovery.
• Handle patient assessments, IV starts, EKGs, and other clinical tasks.
• Provide coverage for PACU call shifts including one night and one weekend per month.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgical team to facilitate patient care processes.

Required Qualifications
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical or perioperative experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working with urology, GYN, ortho, general surgeries, endoscopy, cath lab, and EP procedures.
• Phase 2 recovery and patient discharge experience.
• PACU Phase 1 recovery experience for call coverage.
• Proficiency in IV starts and EKGs.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel surgical tech experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and rotate call shifts.
