Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care in a hospital setting
- Monitor fetal heart rates and perform fetal monitoring during labor
- Circulate during C-sections and assist with newborn care
- Manage OB triage, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, mother-baby, nursery, and GYN surgeries
- Maintain patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:8 depending on area and shift
- Float within service lines as needed and work holidays as required
Required Qualifications
- Active valid nursing license (RN)
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Strong labor skills, fetal monitoring, and circulating C-section knowledge
- Experience with newborn care and OB procedures
- BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required
- Intermediate and Advanced AWHONN certifications preferred
- IV start, triage, and circulation skills required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital with a busy LDRP unit
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple patients
- First-time travelers accepted
