Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services across a wide range of patient care areas including medicine, surgery, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary, and oncology.
• Assess, document, and develop treatment plans for diverse patient populations in an inpatient setting.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and injury prevention.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during patient care.
• Collaborate with medical teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services.
• Work within hospital policies and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with varied patient populations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level Trauma or teaching hospital environment.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs and support other therapy service lines.

Additional Information

• Shifts are Monday through Friday, 0700-1530, with flexible start times up to 0800.
• Candidates will be required to work one weekend per 4-week cycle (Saturday and Sunday), with a day off during the same week.
• Guaranteed hours include at least 3 shifts every 13 weeks.
• No remote or travel restrictions; local candidates outside a 75-mile radius are not accepted.
• Certified therapists may float within scope and at sister facilities if needed.
• Parking passes are available during orientation, with various options at the hospital facility.
