Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the IMC, PCU, and stepdown units, monitoring vital signs and patient status.
- Manage cardiac telemetry, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and emergency response.
- Administer medications, including IV therapies and blood products, following protocols and safety guidelines.
- Assist with wound care, drainage management, and patient assessments.
- Float within scope to different departments and units as needed, maintaining flexibility to meet facility needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in acute care settings.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage IV therapies.
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holiday coverage as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Knowledge of PICC line management, tracheostomy care, and ventilator management.
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system.
