Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Follow established protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards
- Float to other units as designated by hospital needs, including possible shifts at a nearby medical center
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, CPI, NIH, PALS
- Ability to work variable start times and flexible schedules
- Willingness to work every other weekend, including 12 weekend shifts per contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a acute care hospital setting
- Comfortable with adaptable work schedules and occasional unit float
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
