Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Perform MRI imaging procedures on various patient populations, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate MRI equipment such as GE and Siemens systems, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with medical staff to determine appropriate imaging protocols based on patient diagnoses
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Follow hospital and unit-specific policies, including patient diagnoses familiarity (brain, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, MIP, MRP, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE)
• Complete documentation and communicate effectively within the unit’s electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• BLS certification
• Valid MRI technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent)
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and specialized imaging sequences (diffusion, gradient echo, MIP, MRP, peripheral MRI, spin echo, surface coils, T1, T2, CINE)

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Skills in chest imaging and image post-processing

Additional Information
• Must attend hospital orientation during the first week of assignment
• Scrubs required: royal blue
• No call requirements; no float requirements; no weekend shifts outside scheduled nights
• Contract staff may be assigned to work during storm, hurricane, or disaster events, including potential consolidation to the centralized office
