• Full-time, 3x12 Day Shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Level II Trauma Center operating room.
• Assist withoperative procedures across various specialties including neuro, thoracic, general, ortho, plastics, robotics, gyn, ENT, pediatrics, urology, trauma, and vascular.
• Manage and monitor patient vitals, anesthesia, and surgical instruments during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Handle on-call responsibilities, typically 4 shifts every 13 weeks, with minimal call volume.
• Float between different units as needed based on department requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with pending license acceptance.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with strong emphasis on trauma cases.
• Experience working in operating room or perioperative settings.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call duties.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC.
• Service line experience in neuro, thoracic, general surgery, ortho, plastics, robotics, gyn, ENT, pediatrics, urology, vascular.
• Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred.
