Job Title

• Surgical Technician (Scrub Tech - OR Nurse)

Schedule / Job Type

• Days, Full-time, 13 weeks assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room by preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and supplies.
• Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedics, spine, neuro, general, bariatrics, GYN, urology, ENT, and plastics.
• Ensure accurate procedural skills for trauma, orthopedics, general, and urology cases, matching skill level 3 or above.
• Follow established sterile techniques and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Provide patient care support for pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics as needed.
• Be available for call responsibilities, including one night per week and one weekend every six weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years surgical tech experience.
• Certification: BCLS and NBSTSA (or NCCT certification).
• Experience with scrubbing orthopedic, spine, trauma, general, and urology surgeries.
• Ability to match skills checklist requirements for trauma, ortho, general, and urology cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience traveling as a surgical tech is accepted.
• Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric patient populations.
• Flexibility to work shifts per unit needs, including holidays.
