Contract, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric and NICU patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Support flight and transport teams with specialized respiratory needs for critical patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatments.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, especially in high-acuity units.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of Level 4 NICU experience.
• Prior flight experience is required.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.
• Must meet travel weight restrictions (not exceeding 235 lbs in street clothes).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, academic medical center.
• Comfort working in high-acuity and emergency situations.
