- Full-time, days shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting at a major hospital facility.
- Monitor and chart patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Recognize and respond to patient needs, utilizing ECG rhythm recognition skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards.
- Work at least every other holiday as part of the scheduled rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
- At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience accepted.
- Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital environment with a variety of patient acuity levels.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
