Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
- Ensure timely assessment, intervention, and documentation of patient conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
- Work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
- Maintain flexibility to meet unit and patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Vermont.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (must be in packet or proof prior to start).
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
- EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years.
- Prior travel experience preferred; experience in large, teaching hospitals (500+ beds) and multiple ERs advantageous.
- Must have reliable transportation; vehicles with all-season or snow tires recommended during winter months.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training such as CPS.
- Experience working in teaching or large-volume emergency departments.

Additional Information
- Duration: 16 to 32 weeks, starting as soon as 12/15.
- Competitive travel rates: $105/hr; local pay: $95/hr; nearby: $100/hr.
- Shifts per week: 3.
- Work schedule includes bi-weekly orientations on Mondays (next available: 12/29).
- Must explain any employment gaps over 90 days in your employment history.
- Complete all work history details, including bed counts, EMR used, and facility type, to submit.
- No block scheduling; shifts are scheduled as per rotation.
- Reliable transportation is essential; no public transit options available in the area.
