Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment
- Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine and complex nursing care in the labor and delivery unit
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Administer medications and treatments following protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about care plans and health needs
- Delegate tasks appropriately to other care team members and manage contingencies in clinical situations
- Demonstrate professionalism aligned with organizational competencies and standards of practice
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or applicable compact state
- Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- Successful completion of organizational entry competency validation and annual re-credentials
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One year of experience in labor and delivery or perinatal nursing preferred
- Recent practice in a perinatal setting or Perinatal RN Residency experience preferred
