Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract
- Shifts: 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift
- Days shift, Monday through Friday (no weekends, calls, or holidays)
- Shift options: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within an ambulatory oncology clinic setting
- Serve as a Nurse Navigator, assisting patients through their treatment journey
- Perform protocols such as central line access, port draws, PICC dressing changes, and peripheral phlebotomy
- Adhere to specific protocols and procedures related to oncology nursing
- Ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication with healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse licensure
- Experience as a Nurse Navigator preferred
- Ambulatory clinic experience required
- Ability to work 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts
- Must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract staff)
- Strong clinical skills in oncology nursing procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing experience
- Familiarity with central line access and port management
- Knowledge of PICC dressing changes and peripheral phlebotomy
- Previous experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinics
