Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
Greensboro, NC
Schedule / Job Type
3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), nights, including some weekend shifts and holidays as needed. No call.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Complete patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer treatments
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing
- Active RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- Able to pass a required Pass/Fail EKG exam for all RN candidates in this facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Charge Nurse and Level 2 Trauma experience
- CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are a plus
- Flexibility with scheduling and reliable attendance
