- Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient oncology nursing care in a specialized hospital setting.
- Administer cell therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy treatments, and blood product transfusions.
- Monitor patients in an isolation unit, ensuring safety and compliance with infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver intermediate level of care in a transplant environment.
- Maintain low nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure quality patient care.
- Follow protocols for transplants and associated treatments scheduled on the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oncology or transplant specialty.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with chemotherapy, cell therapy, and immunotherapy.
- Knowledge of NIHSS and ICU protocols.
