- Full-time, Days, 10-hour shifts, rotational days off, includes weekend call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting for adult and pediatric patients
- Circulate during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols
- Assist with various surgical specialties, including eyes, general, ortho, neuro, ENT, urology, plastics, and burns
- Participate in weekend call rotations, working 48-hour shifts as scheduled
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care throughout procedures
- Adapt to floating to different units within the hospital as needed, except cardiac and gastrointestinal services
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level I trauma hospital or similar setting
- At least 2 years of pediatric surgical experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Prior travel or interim staffing experience preferred
- Circulating nurse certification and experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a diverse surgical unit with multiple specialties
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying schedules
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
