Schedule / Job Type
- Rotating shifts, part-time (3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift)
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collect and analyze comprehensive patient data to identify diagnoses or issues.
- Provide family education and support throughout the patient’s care process.
- Promote a safe environment and employ strategies to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practice.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including research integration and peer collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, especially related to stroke and cerebrovascular care.
Required Qualifications
- Montana Nursing License (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) provider certification
- STABLE certification
- Minimum of one year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in neonatal intensive care or related critical care settings
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of cerebrovascular and stroke care protocols
