Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing medical histories, reconciling medications, obtaining vital signs, and starting IVs
• Monitor patients’ vital signs during post-anesthesia care and review discharge instructions
• Assist with patient recovery and discharge, ensuring safe, efficient care in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff to deliver high-quality perioperative care
• Support a variety of specialties including Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and Gastrointestinal procedures
Required Qualifications
• Valid SC or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification
• Radiation badge provided by employer
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience in OR or perioperative settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, endocrine, surgical oncology, plastics, robotics, total joints, or similar specialties
• Well-rounded background with proficiency across relevant surgical specialties
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-specialty environment
