Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a 23-hour observation unit within a surgery center.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure patient safety and effective care.
• Monitor and manage various patient cases including orthopedics, interventional radiology, and GI scopes.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment with evolving patient needs and unit protocols.
• Assist in patient pre- and post-operative procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Float within scope to related units or sister facilities as needed, depending on operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of appropriate clinical experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in operating room or surgical observation settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-service environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling requests with managerial approval.
