• Full-time, Days shifts, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operative environment for various outpatient surgical procedures, including orthopedics, interventional radiology, and GI scopes.
• Support patient care by reviewing medical histories, reconciling medications, obtaining vital signs, starting IVs, and preparing patients for surgery.
• Monitor postoperative patients in the recovery unit, including vital signs and discharge procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and efficient flow within a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting.
• Manage a variety of cases within specialties such as orthopedics, VIR, and GI, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with setup, sterilization, and maintaining surgical instruments and supplies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Compact State licensed Surgical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Radiation badge as required by facility policies.
• At least 1 year of surgical technologist experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, endocrine, surgical oncology, plastics, robotics, or total joints.
• Well-rounded experience across multiple surgical specialties relevant to the caseload.
