Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Days, Part-time (3 shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process for patients in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through adherence to standards of care.
• Supervise and collaborate with LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Current Nursing license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in an 18-plus bed telemetry or progressive care unit.
• Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel nursing assignment.
• Ability to pass the on-site Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Assessment (BCA) test.
• Flexibility to float between departments and local locations within 20 miles.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• NIHSS certification (preferred).
