Registered Nurse PACU
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - PACU
Location
- Idaho Falls, ID
Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, days shifts, with on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative care to patients in the PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patient recovery, vital signs, and comfort levels
- Perform procedures such as IV starts, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks
- Maintain documentation using the Meditech system
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Comply with hospital policies including certifications and dress code
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of PACU experience at a Level 2 trauma hospital
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including call nights and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a busy, multi-bed PACU environment
- Familiarity with hospital equipment and procedures related to postoperative care
