- Days, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a high-volume Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratory.
- Assist with coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart cases and MacLab hemodynamic monitoring.
- Support peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, cardioversion, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
- Prepare and operate procedural equipment, ensuring patient safety and documentation compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekday nights and every other weekend.
- Utilize x-ray equipment and electronic health records for documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Cath Lab setting.
- ACLS and BCLS certifications.
- Experience with circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry.
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic charting systems.
- Knowledge of MacLab hemodynamics and specialized procedures such as cardioversion and TEE.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Structural heart procedure experience.
- Familiarity with specialized equipment including Acist and Synchvision.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced acute care environment.
