- 12-Hour Night Shifts, 3 shifts per week, contract basis (13-26 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac patients in a specialized cardiac stepdown unit.
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as Diltiazem, Amiodarone, and others.
- Manage sheaths, TR Bands, and femstop devices post-procedure.
- Interpret dysrhythmias and remote cardiac monitoring data.
- Perform pre/post procedures including cardiac cath and cardiac surgery care.
- Access ports, manage central lines, PICC lines, and blood products as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with specific experience in telemetry and cardiac care.
- Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias, remote monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Valid ACLS certification.
- Pass EKG testing prior to start.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience.
- NIH certification is a plus.

Additional Details
- Floating required as needed, with potential to float every shift.
- No RTO (Return to Office) after booking; no onsite work unless specified.
- 7-day RTO maximum, auto-offer for candidates with minimal RTO requests.
- Unit handles complex cardiac cases including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures.
- Must be willing to participate in storm/hurricane team during emergencies.
- Unit utilizes Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR systems.
- Navy scrubs required.
- Arranged to work in a team environment, with mandatory self-scheduling per unit needs.
