Registered Nurse - ICU

Mission Viejo, CA

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the ICU for float pool patients, with the potential to float to other units as needed
• Maintain patient safety and comfort by following clinical protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including certifications and documentation
• Work weekends at a minimum of every other week, with flexibility to meet unit needs
• Be willing to work holidays and adhere to schedule requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Active California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Ability to work every other weekend; may exceed this based on unit needs
• Willingness to float between units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in a busy ICU setting in an acute care hospital
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
