Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 4 days per week, approximately 10 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and transesophageal echo procedures.
- Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic cardiac laboratory examinations adhering to established protocols.
- Utilize sonographic skills to identify, record, and analyze anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care during all procedures.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory accreditation standards via ICAEL and JCOH.
- Establish and maintain professional rapport with patients, healthcare team members, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- Valid ARDMS or AE certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
- Proficiency with 2D color flow and Doppler waveform analysis.
- Experience with echocardiography procedures applicable to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience performing adult stress and transesophageal echocardiography.
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment such as Philips CX-50 and general ultrasound systems.
- Experience working within a hospital or clinical setting with ultrasound and echocardiography certifications.
