• Full-time, travel assignment, day shifts, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nursing support in the operating room across various surgical specialties such as orthopedics, spine, ENT, and cosmetic procedures.
• Assist with procedures including knee and shoulder arthroscopy, ACL repairs, joint replacements, spine surgeries, and ENT surgeries.
• Float between surgical centers as needed, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff to facilitate efficient and effective surgical procedures.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and guidelines, utilizing new equipment and technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room circulating experience.
• Proficiency in orthopedic, spine, ENT, and cosmetic surgical procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage surgeon and staff needs effectively.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with surgical technologist duties in orthopedics, spine, ENT, or cosmetic procedures.
• Knowledge of advanced surgical equipment, including fluoroscopy, microscopes, and arthroscopy tools.
• Experience working in a surgical unit with new arthroscopic video equipment and sterilization processes.
