Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Thief River Falls, MN
Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts, full-time, generally 12-hour days or nights, with occasional 8-hour shifts; 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a 25-bed critical access hospital, including ICU, Med-Surg, and OB departments.
• Monitor telemetry for acutely ill patients, perform cardioversions, and manage post-operative PACU patients.
• Utilize equipment such as EPIC charting, Omnicell medication systems, Philips monitors and telemetry, Philips defibrillators, Plum IV pumps with smart library, BiPAP, and ventilators.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies by badge-in and badge-out procedures.
• Float to Med-Surg, OB, and Emergency Department units as needed, applying specific skills such as obstetric or emergency care if qualified.
• Participate in a comprehensive orientation program including one day each for Med-Surg and ICU training.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Minnesota.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment, managing telemetry, IV medications, and post-procedure monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Obstetric, Emergency Department, or Med-Surg experience.
• Willingness to work weekends (2 in 6 weeks) and occasional extra shifts.
• Ability to work as the only ICU-skilled nurse on-site, with support from ED nurses.
