Registered Nurse OB/GYN

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

• Thief River Falls, MN

Schedule / Job Type
• Rotating shifts, full-time, 12-hour days/nights (occasional 8-hour shifts), approximately 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Med-Surg units
• Assist with procedures related to labor, delivery, and neonatal care
• Float to other units/departments as needed, including Med-Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department skills utilization
• Follow established staffing guidelines and maintain patient safety standards
• Properly document patient care using electronic charting systems and utilize hospital equipment such as fetal monitors, IV pumps, and more
• Comply with unit-specific training and orientation requirements including OB and Med-Surg orientation days

Required Qualifications
• Valid MN RN license
• Fetal monitoring, ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications (all required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or antepartum care
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends (2 weekends every 6 weeks); call not required
• Note: Must have worked for Sanford Health previously, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission, if applicable

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with NICU or Emergency Department settings preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC charting, Omnicell, Philips monitors, and fetal monitors
• Experience caring for ICU patients or with med-surg units is a plus
