Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room for adult patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Circulate for one OR room, supporting sterile technique & patient safety.
• Work independently during 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, including weekends, evenings, and call shifts (approximately 1-2 times per month).
• Float within multiple units/departments as needed, with flexibility to cover various specialties.
• Adhere to hospital dress code, including scrubs, and follow all safety and surgical protocols.
• Complete unit-specific training and orientation generally within one week of placement, including hospital orientation for charting and privileges.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in operating room nursing or circulating within surgical environments.
• Ability to work independently across varying shift lengths, including weekends and call shifts.
• Willingness to float and work across multiple units.
• Compliance with hospital dress code and safety standards.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a surgical or perioperative setting.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic charting systems.
• Ability to quickly adapt to different surgical specialties.
