Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Fargo, ND

Schedule / Job Type: Rotating shifts, Full-time, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical patients, including those in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Perform initial admissions and ongoing patient assessments until transfer to designated units.
• Utilize equipment such as Epic, Zebra phones, Omnicell medication systems, and Aleris IV pumps.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care and communication.
• Float to other medical/surgical units as needed to support department coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Epic electronic health record experience.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• Valid nursing license applicable to the state of practice.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with trauma patients.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
