Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, rotating holidays, primarily weekdays with some weekends, floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care during night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Manage a variable patient caseload, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to established protocols and documentation standards, utilizing Epic electronic health record system
- Support patients through efficient triage, treatment, and discharge processes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Valid certifications in BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in emergency settings
- Experience handling patient populations across all age groups
- Strong understanding of hospital protocols and interdisciplinary collaboration
