• Full-time, Nights shifts, Travel position with a 12-hour shift schedule, typically 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients across all age groups in a critical access hospital setting.
• Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators, ABG monitors, and invasive monitoring devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately within the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and ensure patient safety during respiratory procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) eligible to take the NBRC written exam.
• Valid Vermont state licensure as a respiratory care practitioner.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required at the time of submission.
• Recent NICU experience within the past year.
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in ICU, ED, or neonatal settings.
• Prior Epic electronic health record experience within the past 2 years.
• Pediatric and neonatal intensive care experience preferred.

• Facility: 25-bed critical access hospital.
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy.
• Patient Population: Neonatal to Geriatric.
• Equipment: Ventilators, ABG analyzers, invasive monitors, and other respiratory support devices.
• Float to units including Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, and Birthing Center.
