- Full-time, Nights shifts, Travel position with a 12-hour shift schedule, typically 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients across all age groups in a critical access hospital setting.
- Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators, ABG monitors, and invasive monitoring devices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately within the Epic electronic medical record system.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and ensure patient safety during respiratory procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) eligible to take the NBRC written exam.
- Valid Vermont state licensure as a respiratory care practitioner.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required at the time of submission.
- Recent NICU experience within the past year.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in ICU, ED, or neonatal settings.
- Prior Epic electronic health record experience within the past 2 years.
- Pediatric and neonatal intensive care experience preferred.

- The role requires reliable transportation, with vehicles equipped for winter conditions (all-season or snow tires from November to April).

- Facility: 25-bed critical access hospital.
- Unit: Respiratory Therapy.
- Patient Population: Neonatal to Geriatric.
- Equipment: Ventilators, ABG analyzers, invasive monitors, and other respiratory support devices.
- Float to units including Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, and Birthing Center.
