Schedule / Job Type
- Contract, 13 or 21 weeks, nights shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to urgent situations promptly.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and treatment progress using electronic charting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including safe medication administration.
Required Qualifications
- Current Delaware or Compact RN license with license number and expiration date.
- Valid certification(s) with current expiration dates.
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
- Full SSN, date of birth, and current address needed for onboarding.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Ability to float to similar acuity units within the hospital.
- Knowledge of stroke care and management.
