Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
• Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Float between units as needed, delivering patient care across different acuity levels
• Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5, ensuring safety and comfort
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Support patients' needs through effective communication and teamwork
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with electronic health records, preferably Epic
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit requirements and patient conditions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
