Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, with potential to float across multiple units and other campus locations.
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and stay compliant with hospital policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility by floating within units of similar or lower acuity levels as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with IV starts and telephonic nursing highly preferred.
- Previous experience in ICU, PCU, or similar stepdown units required.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating assignments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a float pool or multiple hospital units.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
