Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in a specialized PICU setting, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing complex medical therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately within electronic health records.
• Support families and caregivers with education and emotional assistance during critical illness episodes.
• Adapt to fluctuating patient needs and unit protocols, including floating within scope as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• BLS and PALS certifications accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Willingness to work night shifts and participate in holiday rotations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts and on-call as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO and CRRT therapies.
• Knowledge of pediatric neurological and surgical care.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records or similar charting systems.
• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital setting.
