- 13-week contract, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a busy ER setting.
- Monitor patient conditions, perform trauma assessments, and implement treatment plans.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Alaris pumps, rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately within the MEDITECH electronic medical record system.
- Assist in procedures including splinting, EKGs, central line placements, airway management, and behavioral health de-escalation.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Texas or appropriate state licensing.
- ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
- Inpatient, trauma, or emergency department experience.
- Knowledge of MEDITECH electronic medical records.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience or holding additional certifications such as CPI.
- Experience with Meditech electronic health record system.
- Prior work in emergency or high-acuity settings.
