Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, Days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit specializing in Neuro/Neurology.
• Assess patient conditions, perform MedSurg assessments, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic health records.
• Must be available for call requirements and work 3 shifts per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with MedSurg assessments and pharmacology.
• Ability to provide care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Neuro or Neurology unit.
• Knowledge of Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certification is a plus.
