Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a GI Lab setting, including endoscopy procedures and patient recovery
• Assist with moderate sedation and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, including Olympus scopes and supplies from various manufacturers
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including passing an EKG test with 80% or higher prior to start
• Document patient care accurately within an Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• CPR and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of GI Lab, Endoscopy, or Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to perform moderate sedation and recovery procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Endoscopy and GI lab experience with Olympus scopes and endoscopy supplies
• Ability to pass an EKG test with 80% or higher on the first attempt
• No recent time off (no more than 7 days)
