Schedule / Job Type
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, contract/temp
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with cardiac or cardiovascular issues in a stepdown unit
- Monitor patient vital signs and progress, ensuring timely interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Respond to patient needs and emergency situations promptly
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in compliance with NLC guidelines
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac or cardiovascular stepdown setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a team nursing environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Knowledge of cardiac medications and procedures
- Recent experience in a hospital setting preferred
