Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum
Location
- Le Mars, IA
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 12-hour shifts, days and nights, every third weekend, holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to postpartum and mother-baby patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient recovery and respond to medical needs effectively
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Iowa or the ability to obtain
- Experience in maternal/newborn nursing or postpartum care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Mother Baby or postpartum unit
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care practices
