Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting during night shifts.
- Monitor patient vital signs, recognize ECG rhythms, and respond to urgent situations appropriately.
- Document patient progress and assist in care coordination.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols.
- Complete required assessments and procedures during orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and Medicate training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Valid Ohio RN license or a Compact license in hand.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (NIH certification must be obtained prior to start).
- Epic EMR experience.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores.
- Must work at least every other holiday.
- One recent reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty.

- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
