Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, rotating days and nights
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring accurate recognition and response
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for before travel assignments
- At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience; travel experience considered acceptable
- Current Ohio or compact state nursing license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must work at least every other holiday during the assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ECG rhythm recognition assessments and safe medication administration
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
