Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a large level 1 trauma facility, supporting various surgical specialties.
• Assist with procedures in neuro/cranial, trauma, orthopedics, spine, general, vascular, ENT, GYN, and urological surgeries.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
• Float between operating rooms and ambulatory surgery areas as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar high-volume, level 1 trauma hospital setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong skills in neuro/cranial (including burr hole procedures), trauma, ortho-trauma, spine, general surgery, vascular, ENT (thyroid), GYN, and GU/cyst procedures.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple surgical specialties.
• Proven high performance across all areas of skills assessments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a facility with 21 main OR rooms and 6 ambulatory rooms.
• Ability to float between ORs and ambulatory surgical units.
• Demonstrated excellence in surgical nursing, particularly in trauma and neuro cases.
